MY Blue Melody

MY Blue Melody is a large liveaboard diving yacht run by an experienced & well-respected team of professionals. It accommodates up to 26 lucky guests in twin & double air-conditioned cabins, all of which have a television, private bathroom, & mini bar fridge. It is equipped with all the latest safety & communication equipment, plus there’s Nitrox for a small fee and free Wi-Fi.

Blue Melody has a large sundeck with plenty of soft seating and some tables for early morning coffee or starlit evenings. The boat’s upper deck has a large & luxurious air-conditioned ‘Sky Lounge’ which has a bar, plenty of comfortable furniture, and huge flat-screen television. At the rear of this upper deck is the outdoor sofa area, which is where many guests spend most of their time on board. At the front of the upper deck are two large double-bed guest cabins, accessible from the outdoor gangway.

With both indoor & outdoor staircases between decks, you can descend to Blue Melody’s main deck. Here you will find one double-bed guest cabin at the front, a huge air-conditioned dining room in the middle, another lounge saloon and the large two-level dive deck at the rear. Yes, this boat has two lounge saloons, one on the upper deck and another just behind the dining room on the main deck. And finally, on Blue Melody’s lower deck there are ten twin-bed guest cabins.

The team of dive staff and crew all know what it takes to make sure that your week on board is as enjoyable as possible. This includes every member from the boat boys to the dive guides and kitchen staff. The food on Blue Melody is delicious and it’s served several times each day, with tea, coffee, water, fruit & snacks always available.

But everyone joins these trips for the diving. Blue Melody’s dive platform is large & well designed, with everything in the correct place. Even if the boat is at full guest capacity, everyone can all gear up together and jump in the crystal-clear Red Sea one group after another. Depending on each dive site you can dive from the platform on the main boat, or from one of the zodiac dinghies.

Prices & Schedule

Trips on MY Blue Melody include two separate northern itineraries, plus one that goes north and then on to The Brothers. And ‘Simply The Best’ trips go to The Brothers, Elphinstone & Daedalus. Most trips are 7D/7N, but some are 10D/10N. Please carefully select an itinerary from your chosen trip on the schedule or the list below. Nearly all trips start on Fridays when guests check in during the afternoon or evening and the boat sails in the morning, after everyone has had a comfortable night’s sleep. Disembarkation is after breakfast the following Friday morning (or ten days later where applicable).
