MY Serena Dreams

MY Serena Dreams is the ideal Red Sea diving liveaboard for exploring the northern Red Sea in smaller groups. The maximum number of guests is never more than 18, who sleep in 9 air-conditioned cabins, all with private bathrooms. You can join as a solo traveller, as a couple, with friends or family. But a lot of trips are fully booked by scuba diving groups who charter the whole boat for a week.

There are four decks on Serena Dreams, and all are well designed, and constructed with quality materials. On the lower deck there are five twin-bed cabins and one double cabin. All have an en suite bathroom, porthole window and air conditioning. Each guest is provided with a bathrobe and towels for the trip. The main deck is all communal areas, for relaxing and for diving. Here you will find a lounge saloon and dining room inside. There's enough seating and tables for everyone to eat together in small or larger groups. Plus there's soft sofas and armchairs to enjoy the library and multimedia corner. This is an air-conditioned dry area, where you either relax or enjoy the delicious food that is served throughout each cruise. At the rear of the main deck is the well-designed diving platform. There are plenty of tank slots and storage boxes for everyone to have their own space for the trip, and they can gear up without banging into others. Nitrox is available for free to certified divers, and a great idea to make the most of your trip.

The upper deck of Serena Dreams is home to three guest cabins and the outdoor seating area where you will spend a lot of non-diving time during the week. It's a sheltered area, with plenty of seating and the best views of the Red Sea. Here guests chat together, often over a drink in the evening. The three upper-deck guest cabins are one double and two twins. Finally, there's a nice sundeck on Serena Dreams. Here you will find space to top up your tan or gaze at the stars. It's a popular place for early in the morning and into the evening and it has beanbags and sun loungers. Wherever you spend your non-diving time on the boat you will be happy and comfortable.

But these trips are all about the diving, and Serena Dreams doesn't disappoint. Most of the itineraries focus on the northern Red Sea and Ras Mohamed. But a few scheduled trips also cross over to The Straits of Tiran, and some go as far as Dahab's Blue Hole or down to The Brothers. The dive staff and crew are all hard-working and experienced. This includes everyone from the chef to the captain, boat boys to cruise leader. Although every itinerary is exciting and the boat visits lots of colourful dive sites, most of the diving on Serena Dreams is suitable for less-experienced divers. But even you have logged 1,000 dives or more, don't worry because the diving is ideal for everyone.

Prices & Schedule

Itineraries on Serena Dreams are 7D / 7N and they are designed to enable you to fly in, go to the boat, and after 6 days' diving you can disembark and go directly to the airport.

Most of the trips are to the best reefs and wrecks of the northern Red Sea, including Ras Mohamed. Some venture to The Straits of Tiran, The Brothers and even to Dahab's Blue Hole.
