Emperor Seven Seas is one of the best scuba liveaboards in The Red Sea. Having won the prestigious award five times, its reputation is excellent. Now owned and operated by our good friends at Emperor, we refer to the boat as Emperor Seven Seas. At 41 metres long and 8.5 metres wide, the boat is huge, and easily accommodates up to 24 very lucky guests in twin & double cabins. Plus its large sizes assures for smooth and safe crossings in all sea conditions. There are four decks on Emperor Seven Seas, but the two decks that you will spend most time on are the main and upper decks. The uppermost area of the boat is a large sundeck, and in the hull are the twin cabins.
The lower deck is home to eight luxurious twin-bed guest cabins, each with its own private bathroom, mini fridge, tv, air conditioning and porthole window. They are designed for friends, siblings or solo guests who may share with a same-sex fellow guest. All the guest bathrooms on Emperor Seven Seas have a separate shower cubicle, to ensure the best experience. Access to the cabins is via a brightly-lit corridor that leads up to the huge air-conditioned louge saloon on the main deck.
This lounge saloon is the centrepiece of the boat's main deck. It's spacious and comfortable, with lots of sofas and soft seating, plus there's a bar with stools. Lots of natural light comes in through six huge windows. Through a door from the lounge saloon towards the front of the boat you will find a large dining room restaurant. This is also air conditioned and well lit, and can easily seat 24 hungry guests. The food is served several times throughout the day and consists of a delicious blend of local and western cuisine. You're unlikely to feel hungry between meals, but diving can rev up the appetite, so there are lots of snacks and fruits always available. Still on the main deck, but to the rear, is a huge diving platform. Here the tanks and gear are stored safely and tanks filled silently between dives. Two 75hp tender zodiacs are always on call when anyone's in the water.
Emperor Seven Seas' upper deck has four double-bed cabins, which have a large window, and doors which open outwards so your greeted by amazing views every morning. They have slightly less floor space than the twin cabins, but this is due to the large double beds, which are designed for couples. At the rear of the main deck is where most guests spend their time on board. Here there's a large outdoor seating area that is shaded. There's a self-service food counter, great views, and a staircase up to the sundeck.
The sundeck is simply huge, and half is covered with a soft roof. This enables you to get a great view of the surrounding sea, but also the chance to top up your tan or gaze at the star-filled night sky. Here we have lots of soft seating, and it's a very popular part of the boat early in the morning and late at night, and of course between dives.
Like all of the Emperor boats, Nitrox is available for free to certified divers, and those who aren't yet certified can do the course on board if they want. Marine park fees are also included, as is a glass of wine each evening. The great value doesn't affect the quality though. The team, materials and ethos are all to the highest standards and maintain the excellent reputation. Free transfers from Hurghada and Marsa Alam airports and hotels are included.

Itinerary
There's a wide choice of itineraries for Emperor Seven Seas. Nearly all are one-week long, but a few are longer.
On the first day of the trip (Departure Day) you join the boat in the evening and spend the night on board.
The following morning the boat sails out to a nearby reef for the first dive, which is a check dive so that everyone feels comfortable with their equipment, group, air consumption and more.
There up to 3 or 4 dives per day for five days, then on the 6th diving day you get no more than two dives before the boat sails back to the harbour while equipment is drying and divers are off-gassing.
The final night of the cruise is spent back in the harbour, and some times guests are taken to a local 4-5* hotel.
The itineraries below are the most-common for each trip, but these can sometimes be changed for a number of reasons. Small changes are made due to weather & sea conditions, special marine life sightings, overcrowded dive sites, local-authorities' instructions, and the needs & requests of the paying guests. The safety & comfort of all guests is most important at all times.
