MV DiveRACE Class E

MV DiveRACE Class E is a brand-new diving ship sailing from Singapore to the Tioman Islands (Pulau Tioman) of Malaysia. It is a purpose-built ship that was first launched in 2015. The team are experienced, professional and fun. They know what guests on liveaboard diving boats in Malaysia want & need, and they know the dive sites well.

The boat is very large (35 metres long & 7.5 metres wide) so it can easily cruise through the night to the remote islands, which are located between Peninsula Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo. Each cabin has independent air conditioning and a private an suite bathroom. There is a large lounge for indoor briefings on the huge television, as well as for relaxing in air-conditioned comfort. At the rear of the main deck is a large outdoor dining area that is covered. Below is a massive diving deck that enables everyone to gear up, sit in comfort waiting for the 'go,' and to store personal and rental diving equipment. The boat's roof has a vast sundeck, too.

Dive RACE Class E can take up to 28 guests in twin, double and quad-bunk cabins. The wonderful food is a perfect blend of (not too spicy) local and western dishes. Diving is hungry work, but Dive RACE guests will get plenty of food to fuel up to five dives a day. There is even a massage service on board, plus high-quality rental equipment, PADI courses and plenty of space to eat, drink, chat, edit or show videos, or fiddle with photographic equipment.

Prices & Schedule

The trips start in Singapore in the early evening, sailing through the night.

On the first full day there are five dives at different locations (depending on sea & weather conditions, and the needs and desires of the guests).

On the second day there is one dive, and then Dive RACE sails back to Singapore, returning around 10pm.
