The Nautilus Two is a huge liveaboard for relaxing scuba diving trips to the best atolls in The Maldives. The boat was built in 2007, in a traditional design and using the finest wood. Its size and design help it to stand out among nearly all other boats. It can accommodate up to 24 guests in possibly the largest cabins on any Maldives dive liveaboard.
With a length of 43 metres and 13 metres wide, Nautilus Two has more than enough space for up to 24 guests to always have somewhere to socialise or relax. And unlike liveaboard yachts in The Red Sea and most other countries, the available space on Maldives liveaboards is maximised due to the use of support dhonis for the scuba diving activities. Therefore, Nautilus Two can really offer all its deck space for guest relaxation and large cabins. For shared/public trips the capacity is 24 guests, but this can be as high as 30 for full charter bookings.
The twelve cabins on Nautilus Two dive boat are all big, averaging 20m². Most cabins have a large double and a single bed, and a few have just a double bed. The maximum capacity is two guests per cabin. There are ten cabins on the lower deck, and two on the main deck. All have the usual amenities of air conditioning and (large) private bathroom, plus extra storage space, and a dressing table.
Communal areas on the Nautilus Two liveaboard include outdoor sofas & seating at the front and rear, plus a huge sunbathing area on the roof. At the front of the main deck is a whirlpool Jacuzzi, which is extremely popular during the warm & lazy afternoons on board. Most of the main deck is taken up by the huge air-conditioned lounge saloon that has a bar, dining table & chairs, and more soft seating. The décor is a wonderful blend of elegant design and materials. In here scuba dive guests are briefed for every dive, and can fully relax during and after the sumptuous meals served throughout the trip. The kitchen team really know how to create wonderful dishes every day.
Although Nautilus Two has a traditional Maldivian design that is generations old, this new Maldive diving boat has a full set of up-to-date & modern safety, navigation & communication facilities, plus free wi-fi when in range. The scuba diving is done from the support dhoni, which is standard for Maldives diving liveaboards. This frees up space on the main boat and prevents areas getting wet from dripping dive gear & clothing. The dhoni accompanies Nautilus Two during the cruise, and is where all the equipment is stored and tanks are filled with air or Nitrox. Trips range from a week long to up to a fortnight. The itineraries are designed to visit the best atolls at any given time of year.

Itinerary
There are several itineraries on Nautilus Two, ranging from one week to up to two weeks on board. Depending on the time of year and the length of the trip, the dive boat may focus on the central atolls, the north or the south, and some trips start in one area and finish at another.
The itineraries below are the most-common for each trip, but these can sometimes be changed for a number of reasons. Small changes are made due to weather & sea conditions, special marine life sightings, overcrowded dive sites, local-authorities' instructions, and the needs & requests of the paying guests. The safety & comfort of all guests is most important at all times.
