Princess Dhonkamana is a mid-size Maldives liveaboard diving yacht that offers quality, character, luxury and professionalism all in one. Its Maldives scuba diving cruises are usually one-week in length and always at the best atoll in Maldives for the time of year. The cabins are beautifully decorated to ensure guests feel special throughout their Maldives cruise. Every moment of every trip is sure to be remembered forever, due to the service & professionalism from the team, the luxury on board, and the natural beauty underwater.
Princess Dhonkamana has nine guest cabins, all of which are large, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. All have private en suite bathrooms with hot & cold water 24 hours per day, and air conditioning. There is a choice of romantic double bed cabins, twins for friends and solo guests who share with a same-gender other, and there are even cabins with a double bed & a 3rd single bed, which make them ideal for families. Cabins on the upper deck have an ocean view. The whole boat has a feeling of colourful but tasteful character, with Italian flair in its design.
Maldives dive travel is not just about life underwater, because most of the time on each trip is spent on board. Princess Dhonkamana guests can choose from lots of communal areas to relax and/or socialise. There are three sundecks to enjoy the unforgettable views. Most meals are enjoyed outside in a covered area, enabling guests to dine in comfort. The colourful saloon lounge area is air conditioned and has comfortable seating for small and large groups, as well as a bar. Such is the luxury on board that guests may forget about the reason for coming, which is to jump into the crystal-clear tropical seas around the atolls of The Maldives. Divers of all levels are welcome, and those who have never dived before can come to snorkel and enjoy a ‘try dive’ for free, or even learn to dive at The Maldives by taking part in a PADI Open Water course during the cruise. Scuba diving in Maldives is truly world-class, and shouldn’t get in the way of life on board. Therefore, Princess Dhonkamana uses a tender vessel, known locally as a Dhoni, to store diving equipment and transport guests to & from dive sites. Not only does this maximise space on the main boat and avoid wet floors, it also ensures that divers can be dropped off at exactly the right spot above the reef, and picked up quickly and safely as soon as they emerge at the surface at the end of a dive. Maldives scuba diving is safe and enjoyable on this wonderful Maldives liveaboard diving yacht run by a professional and friendly team.
