M/V Krishna is a very popular Similan & Richelieu diving liveaboard. The reasons for its popularity are mainly the great value, plenty of delicious food, friendly & helpful staff, and its selection of exciting itineraries. The boat can accommodate up to 22 guests, most of which stay in twin cabins, but there's also a double-bed cabin and a 4-bunk cabin.
Unlike a lot of other Similan liveaboards which have guest cabins below deck, all of Krishna's guest cabins are above the water line, on the main and upper decks. There are six guest cabins on the main deck, which are four twins, one double and a 4-bunk shared cabin. And at the rear of this main deck are four communal guest bathrooms, with hot and cold fresh-water showers. Further back is a large and well-designed dive platform, where everyone's gear is securely stored for the trip. Up to 30 tanks can be stored here, but the boat rarely needs that many.
The upper deck of M/V Krishna is where you will find four more twin-bed guest cabins. At the front is a simple lounge saloon, that is fully air conditioned. But at the rear of this upper deck is where you will spend most of your non-diving time during the trip. Here we have a large outdoor dining and chill area that is sheltered and can be covered on three sides if there's rain. There's plenty of seating to share a drink with other guests, or to read a book. Here's where you will enjoy delicious meals served throughout the cruise. In addition to meals served buffet style at set times, there's always fruit and snacks available 24 hours a day.
The dive team and boat crew have lots of experience in these waters and appear to always be on hand to help. Whether that's to locate your mask, help you put on your fins, or to gently help you out of the water or dinghy at the end of a dive. There's Nitrox available for certified divers, and if you're not Nitrox certified and want to be, you can usually do the course on board.
Krishna has a choice of itineraries, and in the high season these focus on The Similan Islands and north Andaman (Koh Bon, Koh Tachai & Richelieu Rock). On the boat's longer trips, you can spend an extra night on board, then disembark the boat in the morning. This means you don't need to book a hotel, and you can go directly to Phuket airport. Krishna's shorter North Andaman trips end late in the afternoon on the final day, and you disembark before dark.

Itinerary
Krishna has three main itineraries in the north Andaman, plus some in the south Andaman which we have not displayed yet.
The 3D/3N trips are also shown as 4D/3N on some other websites. These trips start in the evening, and your first dives are the following day. You dive for three full days and disembark the boat in the late afternoon of the final day.
The 4D/5N & 5D/6N trips (shown on some other websites as 6D/5N & 7D/6N) allow guests to spend the final night on board, and disembark the following morning. This means you don't need to book a local hotel, and you can go directly to the airport.
More details can be seen if you click on the items below.
The itineraries below are the most-common for each trip, but these can sometimes be changed for a number of reasons. Small changes are made due to weather & sea conditions, special marine life sightings, overcrowded dive sites, local-authorities' instructions, and the needs & requests of the paying guests. The safety & comfort of all guests is most important at all times.
