Honors Legacy is a new (2012) Maldives liveaboard motor yacht designed and built specifically for Maldives scuba diving cruises, often referred to as diving safaris. The boat is well equipped with spacious & comfortable cabins and communal areas. Each of the guests is taken great care of by the team of crew & dive staff, ensuring memorable diving vacations on this popular Maldives liveaboard.

At 33m in length, Honors Legacy is a typical size Maldives scuba diving liveaboard boat. Similar also in its design, there are three main decks and a sundeck. Cabins are comfortable and well appointed, shared areas are large and luxurious, and the diving takes place from the tender boat. With its size and design similar to most other Maldives liveaboard diving yachts, Honors Legacy stands out from its competitors for its elegant interior furnishings and wonderful service from the dive staff & crew.

No more than 18 guests can join each Honors Legacy Maldives scuba diving cruise. There are 9 cabins, two of which are located on the upper deck and the others on the lower decks. All Honors Legacy cabins are air conditioned, have private en suite bathrooms, a mini-bar, security safe & HD TV systems. The upper deck deluxe suites are 20m2 in size and have wonderful ocean-view windows & bathtubs in their en suite bathrooms. However, the 16 guests who stay in the standard cabins are still looked after very well. Most are double/twin, meaning that with a double and a single bed, they’re ideal for couples or pairs of friends. Even solo/single travellers can join, and normally share with a same-sex fellow guest. One twin-bed cabin is located on the main deck. Space and comfort is such that one could be forgiven for wanting to spend the whole time inside, but the indoor and outdoor shared spaces are equally luxurious and the stunning views & world-class diving are temptation enough to come out of one’s cabin.

Honors Legacy guests have a wide range of places to choose from for relaxing during their Maldives scuba diving cruise at the Maldives. There’s a lounge & bar area, which is air conditioned, has comfortable leather armchairs and sofas, a huge TV & karaoke system. The indoor dining room is also located on the main deck in air-conditioned comfort. Depending on the weather and the preference of each guest, there is also a large outdoor dining area at the rear of the main deck, ensuring that a sea breeze and stunning views can accompany each meal. The upper deck has a large area of chairs and tables at its rear, which is popular for late afternoon drinks and using laptops. Finally, the top deck is where sun worshippers spend their days. There are plenty of large sunbeds and a Jacuzzi. Also, this is where night-time star gazing or romantic evenings are perfect. Scuba diving in Maldives can be incredibly enjoyable on this wonderful diving liveaboard.

However, it’s not just about the comfort and space on board this popular yacht. Most guests come for the underwater action of Maldives liveaboard cruises, as diving here is arguably the best in the world. The marine life is healthy, exciting and abundant. This is mainly due to the geographical location in the Indian Ocean and currents bringing food for resident & pelagic species that congregate around the Maldives atolls. Honors Legacy uses a tender boat, known as a Dhoni, to transfer diving guests to the start point of each dive site, then collects them afterwards. This is quicker and more efficient than using a slow-to-turn ship, and more convenient & comfortable than a small rubber dinghy. Safety is also maximised. The wet & bulky diving gear is stored on the Dhoni, ensuring that every square metre of the main yacht is used for the comfort and convenience of each lucky guest. Diving in Maldives can be luxurious and memorable, but not too expensive. Honors Legacy has a wide choice of cabins and cruises, ensuring that every taste and budget can be catered for.
